Positive thinking helps patients with Parkinson’s

A good dose of optimism can significantly improve the well-being of patients battling chronic illnesses such as Parkinson’s disease, according to recent findings.

Researchers looked at 109 people with Parkinson’s, of whom 55 were female and 54 male. They ranged in age from 50 to 90 with an average age of 68 and had been living with the disease for an average of eight years.
